The Autobots and humans won the war with the Decepticons, but as they were recovering from battle, another enemy came and did something to the core and atmosphere that changed the planet and all living things aside from the Cybertronians. The only way they were effected was that they all were temporarily shut down until a specific human found them and brought them back online through a bond. Not all Cybertronians had to wait for a human to awaken them, but they still shared a bond with them nevertheless. The ones who awoke without a human had to search for their bond in order to access their transformations and weapons. When they would find each other, there would be a split second where the Cybertronian would they would see glimpses of the human's future and know immediately that they were bonded.

The bond allowed the human and Cybertronian to feel each other's emotions and sometimes even communicate through their minds. Sometimes the humans that shared the bond with a Cybertronian they'd get special enhancements depending what type or class ranking the Cybertronian was. For example, if the Cybertronian happened to be a fighter jet, the human would get instant knowledge about piloting and mechanics for different types of aircrafts. After a few years, the remaining humans and Cybertronians started to refer to bonded partners as Cyber-Pairs

Despite all the support there human allies give and the wins the autobots manage to secure, there numbers are always an issue that is over the autobots heads. Fortunately Primus has seen the autobots struggles especially there latest troubles with Ratchet, Bulkhead, and Bumblebee recovering from a trap full of a swarm of scraplets. and Optimus and Arcee are recovering from a near death trip to the Arctic. When the children left to go home, the autobots picked up a emergency signal from an unknown source. Unable to ignore this, and the only bots that can walk Optimus and Arcee go to investigate. When they get to the scene they find an escape pod that was transmitting the signal. But they get ambushed by the decepticons, due to still not being fully defrosted from there trip to the Arctic, Optimus and Arcee struggle severally. As it seems that the bots are going to be captured. A bot arrives on the scene to lend his weapons and aid taking out the cons with ease. After there savior finished off the decepticons, Arcee finally got a good look at who the bot was; and to her surprise its someone who she hasn't seen in a long time. Find out who there rescuer by reading my first Transformers fanfic. A/N: I try to keep my Prime fanfics to go along with the TF Prime cannon as much as possible. For example, no decepticon deaths to early, or outright big changes. And if there is said big change I try to make a loophole to try and keep following cannon.
