(This is a rewrite/alternate universe of season 3 and the beginning of my headcanon series!)

Kion now scarred and fighting for his life after the battle for the Pride Lands and the defeat of Scar; his friends desperately trying to bring him to his only hope of survival, a mystical and far-off place called the Tree of Life and a certain member of the group holding onto a long kept secret that had arisen more from the potential loss they may face before their journey is complete.
