Have you ever been in a bad situation? Yes? Well, it sure doesn't compare to mine! Trapped in a Ork's body in midst a raid on an Eldar craftworld with a giant Warboss staring at me. I almost got trampled, burned and shot, only to crash land on a hostile planet. As if that wasn't enough, I have care for a baby Eldar, one of the few sources of comfort I have on this planet. Without a warband, I need to survive while ensuring the baby's safety. Incident at Facility IX
A story set in the Warhammer 40k universe that I entered into the recent Black Library submissions window. A Planetary Defense Force squad led by a former Imperial Guard trooper are sent on a mission to a seemingly innocuous facility in the vast forests of their home world. Before long, the true nature of the situation at Facility IX becomes clear, and the squad are in a fight for their lives against a terrifying and insidious enemy. The work was not selected to be taken any further, so I am uploading it here in the hopes that someone will still be able to enjoy it. Please let me know what you think!Complete

To do that, he (and maybe a little help from Uzi) made himself a suit with some weapons to defend himself and to make himself look like a disassembly drone or as close to looking like one. He meets the real ones and they bought his story of being a prototype of one of them. He learns about them before they would learn what he really is. How would he affect the story? What would the real disassembly drones feel about him? How would he help fight against the threat of Copper 9?Complete
