Love stories start with some big moment, you catch their eye and birds sing and the sun shines. In this story we just start on the last day of 7th grade in an old middle school choir room.
I know what you're thinking, middle school? That's not going to last and you're right, but in her eyes it was forever.
The problem with that love story was she was devoted to someone who didn't have the compacity to love her back, and she knew that but she thought she could love enough for both of them.
Wendy met Tristan face to face in the abandoned hallway of the choir room. She was there to check the audition list to see if she had gotten into advanced choir. She had backed into Tristan and looked him up and down before asking
