On the other side of the classroom stood his twin sister Izumi Shimura. Why they have different names is because Izuku quirk had time to develop since it was powerful. Izumi believes it won't ever come out, and her friends Bakugo Twin and Todoroki Twins felt the same. Izumi and her friends started to bully and abuse Izuku, and he tried to tell his mom but she forgot about Izuku after that. So for four years he was abused by his sister and neglected by his mother. One day All Might saw this and called Hisashi who came and was beyond pissed as he took Izuku away. Inko realizes her mistake wanting to fix this but ends up being divorced.
