A young hybrid boy named Steven was raised in a garden with only his gem friend and caretaker named Spinel by his side throughout the years, only the two of them making memories and living together at their only home.
Unfortunately, they've started struggling with their resources in their garden and might have to leave soon. Eventually, they packed their things and moved out.
Little do they know, adventure awaits ahead of them.

It was tough work healing all of Beach City. From the land to the settlements, all that was wrecked has now been rebuilt stronger and better than ever. But despite the prosperity, Steven misses Spinel more than he'll ever admit. Eventually, he's had enough and decides to go visit her on Homeworld. The question is though, is this feeling due to being separated from a new friend or is it fact something much deeper? Like a bolt of lightning, this stupid boy appeared in my life. First day of summer break between first and second grade, he just appeared- standing on my porch like he was born there. So after the diamonds took her in, Spinel hasn't been feeling to good with them but she doesn't admit it. After an incident Jasper and Y/n take a visit to home-world. Jasper was just supposed to be a guard for Spinel and so was Y/n, but with the meeting with Y/n and Spinel..a whole new feeling over come them two. (Btw this y/n is based of my other spinel fanfic "promise" but I wanted to make another fanfic. Also spinel loves you for you.
