Creator: Friend or Foe?
This story began as a NaNoWriMo 2012 work, with no planning, and even less idea of plot. I learned from that experience that I am not a 'pantser' -and spent about 20 painful months trying to turn my stream-of-consciousness 3-stories-in-one into one coherent novel, following the timeline and events in the Book of Genesis. I discovered that that is not a great way to build a plot. I ended after 5 more drafts, at about 60k words. There is another draft on my blog, slightly longer, a bit more experimental. This is only meant to be a marker of progress. I hope some may find it enjoyable, useful, and even helpful. He's very brutal and anyone is intimidated by him. He gets a big case about a murder streak in the same apartments Dana lives in. He was only interested in his work but slowly felt protective...or not? - He is kinda heartless, He only cares about his job, nothing else, no one else. Right..? He doesn't want to care for anyone else. He shows no emotions. Then he meets a bubbly Dana- he hates her. He hated how she was so gullible and was always center of attention. She looked at all of them with hopeful eyes. No one belived her. Except Him ! She didn't expect him to believe her out of all the people. She had expected some vile remarks and insults which she was used to. But life is cruel in wicked ways. It shows you the most beautiful things at the worst possible time and with the worst possible scenarios. "Your wife is going to be the unluckiest, I swear. God bless her already. Because she is going to need all the blessing she could get, to have her sanity after being married to a vain, controlling, conceited and..... and... a jerk like you." She was looking for words to describe him but had settled for 'jerk' in the end. Little did she know , that those words were going to bite her in the rare when she finds herself married to a man , she thought she hated his guts. The funny part was, she choose to get married to him and a small part of her was glad that it was him , instead of her harasser. Join Haya as she finds herself being rescued by the man she hated and who she thought hated her back. But there are things that doesn't meet the eyes. That we hide in our heart.
