Micheals long, thrilling, and painful adventure begins December 5, 1987, two days after the death of his little brother. He runs from the parasite behind his father's wrong doings, hoping to start a new life with his animatronic companion and boyfriend, Ennard, known to the world as the King of the Circus & the Tight Rope.

But the parasite is out to get them, wounding them every chance he gets. William himself worries for his son, sending policemen to try to find him. Will they be able to escape, or will they be pulled into the dark plan that is about to unfold?
