This is a short story I wrote in 8th grade (I think). It's about this woman named Wendy writing a letter to her mother about a secret she's been keeping. It's kind of loosely based on the story Peter Pan but it's very grounded reality. I want to say it won an award in the writing contest I submitted it in but I honesty have absolutely no idea.

In this adventurous twist on Peter Pan, young fourteen her old Wendy Darling is kidnapped and is claimed to be "The truest believer". Peter is set out to get Wendy's heart and become the most powerful he can be, but the only problem is Wendy doesn't believe. This idea came into my head while I was watching Once Upon A Time. Most ideas are my own except for Robbie Kay playing Peter Pan, that he needs the heart of the truest believer, the truest believer, and the when they take the pixie dust and jump off the cliff. I'm voicing credit now before anyone says this is plagiarizing. Since I am giving credit to my idea source there is nothing that can be done. Freya has gone through a lot of messed up stuff in her life. Heartbreak, death, lies, almost everything. She has yet to fix her broken heart and start a new life. But how? When she receives an envelope with a return address on it. She soon discovers that a mysteriously intriguing guy by the name of Harry, has been receiving her letters. She has yet to understand why this person wants to come into her life. Will she trust him or will Freya run at the first chance she gets before she gets hurt again. In which a boy who thinks he controls everything meets the girl who actually does. --- Peter Pan is king of Neverland, a mystical island of his own creation. His Lost Boys serve as his troops and have been his only company for the last millennium. Until his shadow brought a girl to Neverland, by the name of Wendy Darling. But she's not the one this story's about. Why? It's simple. Because she's dead. She broke Peter's heart, so he killed her. Only he and the Lost Boys know what happened the night Wendy disappeared, and Peter means to take the secret to his grave, assuming he ever dies, of course. If the Lost Boys know what's good for them, they will too. None of the other creatures on the island have any idea of what became of the one girl who had ever set foot on Neverland. However, what at first seems to be a siren with a know-it-all attitude threatens to change all that. She knows exactly why Peter's heart is shattered. But what she wants to do with that information is, for the very first time, is absolutely unclear to Peter. That doesn't sit well with the Ruler of Neverland. And whatever doesn't sit well with Peter, he either figures it out or kills it. Perverse Discovery
This is a series of short stories inspired by a friend. After buying a new house his mom found a letter (random scribbling?) left behind in a back closet. The scrap of folded paper had warnings about demons that lived in the walls and forced him to sell his house. Needless to say it was an unsettling discovery. Pair that with my own personal experience of buying a house sight unseen and moving (literally) halfway across the country in the middle of a pandemic I had enough material to put together a short collection of stories. Each story opens with an item discovered in a house followed by either the origin of the item or the discovery of the item. All focus around the experience of someone moving. I write these for fun (there are more coming, just editing at the moment) and my own entertainment during the time of social distancing. I hope you find something relatable or at the very least gets you thinking. Enjoy! Abigail is a lonely girl who lived in a small town called Storybrooke. She was living among the most famous and infamous fairy tale characters that ever lived. Abigail however was a human adopted by her fairy tale family to live in Storybrooke forever. She had no friends, was constantly teased for not having magic, and was almost 18 years old. One day she finally had enough of the verbal abuse she received and decided to run away. She wakes up in a strange land surrounded by teenage boys with one in particular who takes an unwanted interest in her. His name was Peter Pan. The most gruesome villain in the land. Abigail believes that there is good in Peter Pan but when she can't leave Neverland until she admits to herself who she really is. Peter Pan and Abigail spend time together both good with some laughs and bad with a lot of screaming and tears while she attempts to get off of the island without any help from Peter or the lost boys. Will Abigail make it off the island? Will Peter give up his villain ways to be with Abigail? Does Abigail stay in Neverland forever and not age? Or does she take Peter and the lost boys back to Storybrooke with her?
