They whimpered softly, their hand in front of their mouth while trying to contain the tears that were forming in their eyes at a rapid pace.
They couldn't let them hear their silent cries. They couldn't know. It would make it way worse than it already was for them.
So they chose to suffer in silence.
In the silent abandoned bathroom on the third floor. The one people didn't dare to step inside to. The one that was bewitched.
The one with the flickering lights since they never got renewed.
And the one that Lix had shed so many overflowing tears in.
The one that Lix had wished to completely disappear in, for hours every single day during lessons.
The one that had their blood flowing down the sink.
The one that Lix was in when the fresh bandage got ripped off again, ruining the fresh, slightly healed wounds all over again.
