His uncle's eyes seemed to hold warmth and sadness and love, but there had to be more. There had to be rage, anger and disappointment. But Zuko couldn't find them. Despite the joke, there was no trace of cheerfulness in Iroh's voice and the attempt to relax the situation shattered at the shards of reality.


Recovery is a long, long way. It's an up and down and up and down - but at the end of the day, you always climb a step further up. Especially, if a loved one is holding your hand while you walk.

He wanted to reach out to Dazai and hold him, but he knew it was not his place. After all they had nothing but a doctor-patient relationship. So, Chuuya had to keep his feelings to himself and continue to be a professional. However, Dazai also sensed that something had changed in their relationship. He had also found himself falling in love with Chuuya, but his lyssophobia held him back from expressing his emotions.
