Songs of Ice and Fire: A Sea of Ice

The story begins in the Northern Mountains of Westeros at the hold of Mountainfield. Brother betrays brother as Carles Cuinn kills his lord and sibling, Lord Beron Cuinn. In Winter Town, Lord Cuinn's heir, the widowed Lady Lynara receives word of her uncle's treachery and a false accusation against her father that sullies his name. Leaving her infant daughter in the care of her servant, she ventures south to Kings Landing, searching for help.

She meets a young man, son of the merchant, who is shortening his time by bounty hunting. After a long day, he comes to the same tavern as Lady Cuinn does. He tries to persuade her to keep him company overnight, but word puts word, and instead of going to bed, they embark on an adventure that will take them all over Westeros from the Dorne coast to the mountains near the legendary Wall.

During their expedition, they become closer, but fate has other plans with them and so it happens that "Duty is the death of Love".

Fun, anger, tension, love, disappointment, and more awaits you on the path of these two very different characters.
