The Calamity has been ceased. After a century of destruction left in its wake, The Calamity was halted due to the efforts of Link, Zelda and the spirits of the Champions. Zelda, though safe in Link's care, is haunted by that one dream of a lone, beautiful woman she had before the Calamity had awoken. Zelda believes that woman may have been the Goddess Hylia herself. She is now determined to pursue the Goddess' Path, whereby with the guidance of Link throughout post-apocalyptic Hyrule, she will set out on a journey to learn about Hyrule's torrid history so that she could finally hear the voice of the woman in her dream. In her daunting journey, Zelda must also learn to navigate a foreign Hyrule, rediscovering the man she once knew as Link and her struggles to return to normalcy after her arduous battle with Calamity Ganon.
