Sam Winchester has seen just about everything. Short of seeing a werewolf riding a werecat, he'd pretty much seen it all. He was weary down to his deeply scarred soul, but it was all worth it for Dean. Most aspirations that Sam had were ships long burned to the waterline, sunk to the inky depths of demons and angels and monsters. His only aim was to see Dean, and himself, reach as old an age as possible. He made the best out of his life that he could- saving people, hunting things, watching over Dean. It was the best life he could hope for, as long as the Winchester brothers were together and hunting, nothing else seemed to matter. Nicole Williams has always seen beauty wherever she goes. No matter what happens, grass still grows, the sun still beams, and someone somewhere is truly living. This is her only justification for killing monsters, the only thing to soothe her in the small hours of the morning when she wakes drenched in sweat that feels too much like blood. She's a hunter, though not born and raised. It was more something she stumbled into and found she couldn't abide. There were people who saw more to the world than just grass and sun and others. They saw beauty in themselves. And they were the ones worth protecting. What happens when Fate, or Chuck only knows what, brings them to the same place, the same hunt, the same bar? How will their lives change when they become irreparably entwined?
