An Extended Reward

Sir Albedo has always been quite the workaholic, especially when it comes to his work. Sure he makes time for his little sister here and there, but there has been a few times where he subconsciously overworked himself. His alchemy partner Sucrose always tries to warn him, but he always brushes it off. It always results in all nighters and exhaustion.
One day, the alchemist forgot how many nights has already passed since he's gotten proper sleep. One, two, maybe four. Before he knew it, things were getting blurry and everything went black while working on a painting. He had fainted, but it seemed like someone caught him in their arms.
Surprise surprise, it was the Calvary captain- while simply walking by their stand in Monstadt after coming back from doing commissions, he managed to catch Albedo just in time. The both of them were good friends, they had spoken many times before and Kaeya has helped him with experiments from time to time when he was free. If he were to be honest, he had developed feelings for the alchemist during their time together. Oh Albedo caught on, alright. He's known for as long as the crush was developed.
Seeing Sucrose frazzled and in a panic, he offered to help. That evening, he brought him back to the Knight's headquarters to rest. He was completely out like a light. For the rest of the night, Kaeya took good care of him. He even told Klee a story before putting her to bed.
A week or two later, Albedo invited Kaeya to Dragonspine to help him with a new project. By that time he already knew about Kaeya's pampering that one night. After the captain comes back from gathering supplies for him, he gives him a tiny little reward as a thanks for that evening. But the greedy Calvary captain wanted a little more than that...
