He will do whatever it takes to get out alive but when he finds himself growing attached to the people he was planning on killing one a little more then the others things get a little more difficult
Newt finds himself a tribute of district 11
He didn't plan on making it out alive he just didn't want to die forgotten like hundreds of tributes before him but when he starts to like some of his fellow tributes one a little to much he might want to survive after all

This is the last book in the Maze Runner trilogy. Newt, Casey, Thomas, Brenda, and Frypan have escaped the Glade and the Scorch. Now they just have one thing left to do; rescue Minho and take down WCKD. The storyline of this book has been altered slightly in some parts to fit Casey's character into the plot, there are also some new scenes that weren't originally in the story, since Thomas is not the main character. The main characters in this story are Newt and Casey. It is written in first person, and the point of view switches between Newt and Casey. This book is only inspired from the series Maze Runner. You may remember Max from my "the 100" fanfic that went to the end of season two. Well, she's back. Of course, the character and her personality, not the backstory or anything. Based on The Maze Runner. The field adaptation, though. I know that's not what book nerds like me will love, and I'm sorry to outrace you. It's just that I'm not good at mysteries or precise details, so I would get a lot of it wrong anyway. But there may be a few references to the book? What if?
What if... Teresa never went with Thomas when she died, but instead, got the serum and went to try to save Newt without anyone knowing. Everyone would be gone to the Safe Heaven thinking Newt and Teresa are dead. But 1 month later, Newt woke up, healthy again and cured. Newt and Teresa then make a team to try and get back to the Safe Heaven where is everyone. This is an alternative end for The Maze Runner : The Death Cure (because I'm clearly still not over Newt's death and I'm so mad that they killed him, so yeah...) Sara's purpose in life have never been clearer. Destiny tends to change without notice. Whipping life into a chaotic spiral and destroying peace and hope. Sometimes the only escape is to run and never look back. Like all the others, Sara is waking up in a box, the only thing she remember is her name, not where she is from or why she is here. She arrived at a place called the Glade, there lays in the middle of a maze. She finds out that she is the only girl in the Glade, she quickly fell in love with one of the Gladers name Newt. She finds out that she had been training to fight since she was a child. Because she is so good at fighting, she get the job as a runner and she is trying to find a way out of the maze. But every time she is in the maze, she needs to be fast, because the doors to the maze is closing at dark and they first open the next morning and she have heard that no one has survive a night in the maze, because some creatures live in the maze and they are only coming out when it is dark. After months in the Glade, and after watching many of her friends die in front of her, Sara is about to lose hope, but then a boy name Thomas come up from the box, and together with Minho they are trying to find a way out of the maze, but one of the boys in the Glade don't like they are trying to find a way out. Will Sara and her friends find a way out of the maze or will they die trying? ~Who will not survive the maze? Read to find...
