Ninety-five years after the War of SandWing Succession came to a close, Phyrria is experiencing an era of unparalleled peace and prosperity. Trade and tourism have become fixtures of the post-war Phyrrian economy, creating exciting opportunities for innovation hitherto unforeseen.

Opportunities for innovation... and for trouble. It falls to Cormorant and his squadron of rough and tough rangers to ensure the safety of dragons navigating the perilous lands of the Mud Kingdom. Whether they are out rescuing thrill-seekers at the foot of the Claws of the Clouds Mountains, or protecting merchants from marauding gangs of thieves, the Twelfth Ranger Squadron are up to the task of ensuring law and order where the MudWing army cannot.

Despite the tumult of his day-to-day life, Cormorant is content, happy, and at peace... until the fateful day an old friend arrives with worrying news of a looming threat in the Rain Kingdom.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Recent events have cancelled this old, old story. However! The synopsis for the rest of the chapters I had planned for the sequel, Cloudborn, are at the end of the second book along with the planned third book I had planned to write. Feel free to enjoy the unfinished, old story as you please. And please remember that the new upcoming revamp is a side project that will not have my full attention, so it will not be guaranteed completion. However, the storyline is the exact same as the original Iceborn. So you needn't worry about being left in the dark! (Book 1 of the Iceborn Series) Years after the Dragonets of Destiny. Generations after the defeat of Darkstalker. Pyrrhia has been at peace for as long as their queens could remember. But the hatching of a special dragon might change the course of Pyrrhia's peaceful reign. A twin IceWing egg, hatching twin Dragonets. One with too much ice, the other with too little. Blizzard the IceWing is Iceborn. After being accused of murdering another of her kind, Blizzard is forced to flee the Ice Kingdom or be killed. While on the run, Blizzard runs into two very peculiar dragons. Two dragons with strange symbols on their bodies. Two dragons from a faraway land. A land where Blizzard could start over. A land called Magisalla. The Wings of Fire series Belongs to Tui T. Sutherland. This is merely a fanfiction. NOTE: This story was created before the announcement of the Lost Continent.

COVER ART IS BY ME Trigger Warnings ⚠️Gore ⚠️Violence ⚠️ Swearing AU Series in place of book 15. Follows closely after the events of book 14. Dragon aging is different in this series- ages up to 8 are dragonet, 9 to 12 is teenager, 12 to 20 is young adult, 20+ is adult. This excuses any questions about aging. It had been eleven years since Crab had died. And Jellyfish missed him. Her brother was the only reason she was alive, and it felt as though it was her fault that he was dead. Life was awful now. Every dragon had a target on their back, and going up to the surface was quite a dangerous task. The remaining dragons of Pyrrhia have waged war on each other, each believing that they had the right solution to fix everything. But in Jellyfish's eyes, it was all so, so wrong. But as bad as it is, Jellyfish has a mostly normal teenage life. Friends to hang out and laugh with, school to keep her occupied, and the constant desire to love and go to parties. It really couldn't get worse, right? It did, though. Danger and hatred swoop in on two wings into Jellyfish's life, and it will never, ever be the same. Plus a really creepy prophecy. We love those. Your enemies can cut you, but they will never be the ones to scar you.
