*Let's get this out of the way quick. I do not own the rights to any of the characters from this story. They are all from the managa/anime Haikyu written by Haruichi Furudate. I also do not own the cover artwork. If anyone does, please reach out so I can properly credit them.*
**Also this is a time skip, as well as a completely different plot from the manga. This is my own spin off of the story so none of what is happening is any spoilers, it is my original story and plot line.**
Hina Kageyama is the little sister of the famous volleyball player, Tobio Kageyama. She spent her high school years living in her brother's shadow of success, but it wasn't all bad. She made many friends and she was very proud of the man her brother had become. But when she entered college, she wanted all of that to change. Granted, her parents wanted her to attend the same college as her brother for peace of mind, so it looked like it was up to her to change her own course.
While on her first day, she was bulldozed by a guy named Bokuto which didn't lead her off to a great start. And later she was offered the position of manger by her brother, Tobio, and her friend Chizuya is elated to join the volleyball team as one. But Hina wasn't as thrilled as her good friend.
Could she join the team and still be a separate entity from her brother?

It's not too sad but not too happy. Her father and mother were very happy together. Not only that but they were rich. (Y/n)'s father is a very very important business man who decided to marry not for money, but for love. Or that's what they both thought at first. One day they get in a big argument during (y/n)'s last day of middle school. Making her have to leave to America instead of going to a school in Miyagi prefecture. Little did she know she would be moving back after 2 weeks in America. That's right 2 weeks. (Y/n)'s mother realizes the mistake she made after moving so decides to move back to Miyagi prefecture. The only thing is that (y/n)'s dad is with another woman. (Y/n)'s mom is devastated but understands. She has to understand. He's a businessman so he HAS to marry someone. Once (y/n) moves back she is kinda excited but at the same time nervous. She ends up realizing that Karasuno is the closest school so she has to see Kageyama again. Once she's there she can't find him anywhere. She does find, however, her old elementary-middle school friends. Once she finds out about the volleyball club she remembers how much Kageyama loved volleyball and notices that there's an opportunity to join by becoming the assistant manager for when the 3rd year, Kiyoko Shimizu, graduates.
