Light Yagami and L are dead.. Right? After death, Light sees L in the afterlife who guides Light of his right and wrongs. 

As expected, brilliant L knows a way to bring them back to life without being known, and soon takes the risks of doing so, to get revenge on Shinigami's that decide they need human entertainment.

That soon leads to giving a girl a deathnote... Although a girl that won't go overboard, and won't kill people.
