Life hasn't always been easy on Patricia. Abandoned at birth, she left her hometown to pursue her dream course. Now 20, this fierce and independent Nursing student juggles classes and a part-time job, determined to achieve the future she was never promised.

But fate has a funny way of derailing even the most carefully laid plans. One night at a friend's house leaves Patricia facing down Dave, the older brother of her friend. Arrogant and intimidating, Dave represents everything Patricia hates about the privileged world she's fought so hard to enter.
