If anyone had told Midoriya Izuku that the worst day of his life would end in Kacchan dying and his love for heroes dying with him, he wouldn't have believed them. Then again, he wouldn't have believed them if they told him anything about that day from almost dying twice after being suicided baited by Kacchan to having his dreams crushed by All Might a rooftop.
Hell, Izuku wouldn't even have believed them if they told him after Kacchan's accident, that the Hero Commission would make his mom and the Bakugo's lives hell and drain them dry of money.
He wouldn't believe anyone who told him that one dropped notebook would result in him being mistaken as dead, almost everything he was erased, and enslaved by villains.
Yet, here he was with a new life, playing a dangerous game because of one horrific day.

What if, when Bakugo and Midoriya are older and hero's, one of them doesn't make it back from their mission as they thought they would. Bakugo and Midoriya had went out to help a couple other pro hero's. You may know them as Denki Kaminari (Charge Bolt) and Kirishima Eijiro (Red Riot). They were up against a villain who constantly enhanced his quirk the longer it took them to take him down but it wasn't as easy as it sounded. Besides this villain, there were others. Civilians he'd turned mad and forced them to use their quirks on the four boys. They couldn't hurt to civilians. They're innocent. But the villain, Madane, wasn't letting up and Dynamite was running out of stamina. An unknown blast was mere inches away from shooting Dynamite and, the number one pro hero, Deku, had jumped and pushed him out of the way just in time. Instead of it hitting Bakugo, it hit Midoriya. Right in the heart.. Will Deku fall from his number 1 throne, or will someone help him just in time?... And if he survives how will this villain be defeated? It all would crumble, and maybe fall into place. But maybe...it would fall into disparity. A Bakudeku Story. {Warning, there's mentions of types of mental illnesses and even seizures. Time Changes Us (DekuBaku)
Disclaimers I do not own nor claim to own either the characters or the world of MHA, the same is said to be true for any and all artwork, I downloaded them from google. I did do some light Photoshop work on the cover but nothing I could really brag about. Warnings ANGST, major character death and pain. This story will hurt to read and even though I am a fan and supporter of happy endings you are just going to have to read to find out how I will manage that. DEKU is going to DIE. You have all been warned. Summary; At the age of 23 the heroes Deku and Dynamight are on a mission together when feelings come out, messy and sloppy, terrible confessions later hurt and angry they turn away because of their inability to communicate with each other. It goes so far that Deku can not even bring himself to call him Kacchan any more, now calling him Bakugo much to the confusion and concern of their friends and coworkers. Everything changes though when as usual Deku doesn't think and moves, his need to save Kacchan, his Kacchan, driving any and all other thoughts from him, he dies in Bakugo's arms. Hours passed but Bakugo can't move from that spot, on his knees he just holds Deku's limp, lifeless body in his arms. Deku's last words repeating themselves over and over in his head. Tear tracks could be seen by anyone who dared to look at the broken hero in his grief. Suddenly time seems to stop, when he looks up he sees rain floating as if frozen in time, a woman shrouded in a green hood stands in front of him, most of her face covered by her hood, he could only see her mouth and chin. "Do we have a deal, Hero?" She asked her voice closer to bells than that of a woman's. "I have a condition, I can't ever see him die again. Give me his injury and let him live," Bakugo's words hung in the air and a clap of thunder rang in air when before there was none, there was now a flash of lightning above them, also frozen in place. From Vigilante to Hero (Vigilante Izuku Fanfic) (Discontinue & being rewritten)
Izuku Midoriya was born with multiple quirks but couldn't actively use them because his body couldn't handle them plus he couldn't tell anyone or he would be targeted by many villains if word got out that he had multiple quirks. His mother and the quirk doctor were the only ones who knew this besides Izuku. Not only that but because none of his quirks would activate until later he couldn't prove to have one thus he was labeled as quirkless by his peers and school. Understanding the danger of having multiple quirks Izuku just pretends to be quirkless but trains hard taking up dance, martial arts, and gymnastics training his body for when he awakens his quirks. When he is 12 his mother died protecting him from a villain. Seeing his mother's death with his own eyes led to him awakening his quirks and his grandfather takes guardianship of him. After his mother's death Izuku chooses to become a vigilante who saves all those he can. After a few years later Izuku is 15 and in his last year in middle school. Everyone still believes him to be a quirkless loser but in truth, Izuku holds many secrets. Izuku wasn't planning on going to the UA Hero course instead he plan to go into their Support Course. However, things don't always go as planned when one day while walking to school Izuku saves a child from being hit by a car not knowing Nezu was watching the entire time. Later when doing a drop to give a certain underground hero information he is caught. After that he is taken in for interrogation, told he will be going into the UA hero course, and even gets adopted by Nedzu. Thank you so much! :)] Perhaps it's not the best idea to pass on a quirk to someone who's dream you just crushed, they could've already started planning something. Izuku Midoriya was always a kid dedicated to his dream of becoming a hero, even if it was far, far away from reach. But after having a terrible day as is, his idol said he could never reach it because he was too weak. Well, that was the last straw for him, and from then on he gave up on his previous dream, and started a new one, one that would prove them all right, in the worst way possible. And his used to be idol was stupid enough to give him his quirk, on top of that he got another from his new leader, so now he had more power than little him ever could dream of. Quirkless is a condition that is worse then hell. Izuku knew that one better than anyone else. Not only did he get a reality check about his dream but he also got a live long lesson from... well life. If it was going acording to Izuku then life could screw him over and go fuck itself in hell. He had enough of it already! After realizing what Bakugo did wrong all his life, he was constantly reminded about his old childhoos friend who just basically vanished from his life. He regretted what he did while going to UA day for day missing his one and only friend who would have deserved the role of a hero.
