In a world of flight, not possessing the ability to fly makes you an outcast. And Marinette Dupan-Cheng is just that. She has the elegant wings of a dove, a creamy pink color with brown spots, but they are utterly useless. That is until she gets the Miraculous of Creation, which gives her the power of life and creation, and the ability to fly! But with the assistance for her wings, she can't be the heroine as long as other welders of the Miraculous may. She meets her partner in crime fighting, Chat Noir, and fell in love. Paris, an incredible City in Europe that's recently been under attack of akumatized supervillains. Luckily two mysterious superheroes called Ladybug and Cat Noir always save the day and put a stop to them. All this has gotten the attention of a young genius called Y/N L/N, who lived in America before he moved to Paris alone. He of course has hidden all his life that he is a prodigy in all aspects of electronics, math, science and the like. Only his parents know, but they don't really care that much. They mostly just accept anything going on with their son, because he made the impossible possible since his first real invention, and they learned not to question it. Our main character is now ready for his new start at the "College" Françoise Dupont, and can't wait to start a journey of heroism as well. I could never find the perfect story that balanced both, heightening the tension between the two characters that the reader would feel. So, I decided to make one. This will be a long story, but one worth waiting for. Within, you are replacing the role of Marinette, but you will be using your own name. Alya is your best friend, Adrien has friend-zoned you and you have it out for Chloe and Lila. To give more context, this story takes place after Season 2. After watching the movie A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song, I was overwhelmed by the parallels in Miraculous Ladybug and Cinderella. Plus, the characters' appearances and personalities were so similar to the show! It was driving me crazy, so I had to write something off of it. This is based off of Tumblr @ssa-alexandria's theory/story idea of a Cinderella/Miraculous parallel. (Thank you so much for this!) Marinette would've remained frozen in her spot if it weren't for the surrounding crowd that pulled her up and started to nudge her towards the stage. "No wait! Don't make me!" She pleaded as they pushed her onto the stage, almost causing her to trip and fall on her face. Meanwhile Adrien had reluctantly made his way towards the stage. Although he could've declined, he would never hear the end of it from his father if he had come across as rude at a public gathering. As the two stood awkwardly on stage in front of the microphones, Luka had come up behind them resting his arms on each of their shoulders. "Don't worry, you guys will thank me for this later." He told them reassuringly. However, his comment fell on deaf ears to both of them as they looked at the floor uncomfortably. "...or maybe not." Luka said more to himself as he backed off and left the stage. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Enjoy a High School Musical AU of Miraculous Ladybug. A songfic for you to relax and have fun with. All of the songs are written to where you can sing along or listen to the music.
