I wake up to the sound of my alarm going off, I read the time and saw 8:33 AM i jumped and practically fell on face, if hands hadn't caught me. I rushed to the bathroom and start aggressively brushing my teeth, I quickly run to the closet and throw on some white jeans with a loose black sweater. I dash down stairs only to find my mom on the couch passed out, I try not to make a sound and grab an apple plus my backpack, I then quietly but quickly walk out of the house and grab my bike near the door. I arrive to school about 5 minutes later with 4 minutes to spare until class. I park my bike next to the other ones, and run into school not looking where I'm going. I bump into a rock chest...

He asks, hesitating on the crackers and pushing them away. "I just thought-it's just- well... you just always seem so pissed when someone mentions the word gay." I spit out words, scared for his reaction. He sighs, "That doesn't fucking mean I hate gays. Normally when I do that it's because someone's using the word 'gay' to hate on them, it just pisses me off, you know?" He asks, bringing the crackers back into his lap and biting into them. "Plus-" He adds on, "You're my best friend, if anything, you being gay is a blessing. I'll always support you." He says, glancing at me through the side of his eyes. I look away, towards the door to hide the crimson blush that I feel spread over my face. "Thanks." I all but squeak out. Lunch went by pretty quickly, and we were back to classes soon enough. I'd forgotten to get a book from my locker, so I quickly went to get it.
