(Y/n) (L/n) is a man born from Xingese descent. His mother was born in Xing and moved to Amestris, where she met his father, who was a State Alchemist. (Y/n) later sets out to become a State Alchemist on his own. Being raised under a Xingese roof, (Y/n) became a master at Alkahestry, and later used that combined with his father's Flash Alchemy to create his own form of alchemy, Lightning Alchemy. He set out on a journey to help uncover the mystery of Amestris that he has been thinking about the moment he arrived in the country, along the way he meets two people he consistently relies on, Roy Mustang and Maes Hughes. Soon after fighting in the Ishvalan war of Extermination, (Y/n) begins to ask more questions about Amestris and finds his friends being put into danger as he hopes to find the truth, and protect the woman that he cares about, Riza Hawkeye.
