"I feel like I've seen your mask before," George commented, eyeing Clay's mask.

"Oh yeah?" Clay asked, intrigued to where he could possibly have seen his mask before. 

"Yeah," George spoke calmly.

"Where?" Clay leaned forward in anticipation.

"In a dream."

"Please, please George," Dream took another shaky breath. "Save me from my reflection."

Dream and George used to be best friends when there were little kids but Geroge's family moved away and he ended up forgetting about Dream, but Dream never forgot his best friend. Then years later the two end up living next to each other again and Dream recognizes his old friend and wants to reform the friendship, and maybe add a bit more to it. This is a DreamNotFound fanfic. I don't want to make anyone unconfirmable, so if Dream, George, or anyone else that I add here wants it taken down I will. Also, Dream has said that he doesn't like his real name and so whenever he is mentioned he will be Dream and not Clay. They cannot even know the names of each other, their faces disguised by their magical jewels. Dream is a flirty, cocky and impulsive hero with a sword and a smirk, never failing to cast witty and flirty remarks at his partner. GNotFound is clever and calculated, and can't stand being near the flirty masked hero. Exams, friend groups, crushes, fights and prom should be their main stressors. But George and Clay barely have time to sleep, let alone focus on anything else. None of that stops George from crushing hard on his classmate, but Clay's heart seems to be somewhere else. Perhaps with a certain masked hero he secretly spends nearly every day with. Neither can escape the responsibilities on their shoulders, and they can't tell anyone their problems. The only person that could possibly understand what they are going through, is each other. But they don't even know who that is. Which is Super inconvenient. Clay struggles with home life, and his social life isn't the greatest either. George on the other hand is the popular kid in school, having no issues at home and no issues with his social life. The two used to know eachother, but something happened after Clay turned four and George never saw him again. What happens when the two cross paths for the first time in thirteen years? This is a very slow burn, fluff filled fanfiction, with some questionable parts, but I just wanted to make this as detailed as I could, so I'm sorry about that.
