Veronica is a normal girl. Well, not really. But Char is even less of a normal girl. And together, it looks like they might just be good friends (or more!), and even better partners in crime.

This story is definitely what I'd consider the "piece de resistance" of my time on Wattpad. I was so incredibly proud of this that I even used something I drew myself as the cover (with black and white added for maximum drama of course). The main character, Veronica, is a rather blatant self insert who I used to explore my own identity as I navigated my way through middle school. She swears, something I had done once or twice but I still felt was a rebellious thing to do. She fights all the bad guys and is loyal to the end, which is what I wanted to be as I matured. But most importantly was the addition in the last chapter that she was in love with Char. At the time I hadn't figured out my own sexuality, but I was starting to learn that being anything other than straight was possible, and I explored that through my fictional characters. My self insert fell in love with a badass stone-butch, though at the time I couldn't correctly place her as such. I truly believe that my writing of Veronica's sexuality was the first step to discovering my own, which is why this story, small and unfinished as it is, remains so close to my heart.
