This is my memoirs, about the pain I went through as a kid and young adult! Fast ward to now and I was at my therapist when I said that I wish my mother left me at the airport security checkpoint! I knew who my mate was the day I turned 16. It was my brothers best friend. Can you believe it? And I only had a second of happiness in knowing before he outright rejected me. It was horrible. But being raped and locked up only to have it repeat the next day was unbearable. That was what I had to go through just a few years ago, and after a couple of weeks, I turned up pregnant. I was innocent before all of that. And I had thought that was the end of my life. My parents wanted to get rid of 'it' the 'abomination' but she was mine, in all the best and worst ways. I kept her, my parents learned to accept her while I was still pregnant, my mom even cried when we first heard her heart beat. When I turned 18, I thought my life was getting better, but I was wrong. Suicidal
This is the story of an abused teenage girl, Maddie. Her need to die has become overwhelming and she is trying to find a way to help herself before she does something she may regret. The story is told from her point of view as she recalls all that has happened to her. Maybe telling her story will help her, maybe not. This isn't just any other sob story. This is more realistic. You may even find yourself comparing your life to Maddie's while reading this story. Disclosure: I wrote this as a 13-year-old and the writing is definitely not up to my current standards, but I feel as though changing what I have already written would take away from the emotion I put into this story at 13 years old. -A first person story of surviving wlw sexual assault, abusive relationships, gaslighting and childhood anxiety. -This story isn't everything that happened, just the parts i feel ready to speak up about❤️ -the book where every story matters and each voice deserves to be heard. -This book is based on a true story and personal experiences, I've recently written this after struggling with processing my abuse and assault so this book really means the world to me. You guys are the first people to read it so I really hope you enjoy it and if you are in a similar situation I hope this brings you some form of comfort, like a warm hug in the form of words. -There is not nearly enough awareness around women on women sexual assault so I'm here to do my part and add my drop into the ocean. -When this book is published (and turned into an actual book lol) it will have a special section at the back for the reader to personalise if they don't have anyone to talk to or just want to get their feelings written down. This section will also offer support, statistics and advice from someone who has been in the same position. -Any funds made when I publish this book will be going to a chosen sa survivors charity.
