Ratchet and Clank AU: The Lombax Legend Book One
~Hailing from the faraway galaxy of Aegialeus, Praetorian Major General Astra Azimuth-Galaxia and her robotic companion Isabella traverse the Polaris Galaxy in search of clues to the truth behind Percival Tachyon's rise to power and her father's exile, on order of her colony's High Council. She takes the opportunity to scour her birth galaxy for hints toward a mysterious trait about herself: her ability to create dimensional rifts at will. Along the way, they are joined by Ratchet, Rivet, Clank, Kit, Talwyn and others who guide them around the galaxy, sometimes sharing more than just adventure.~ So, this is a wildly canon-divergent post-RA alternate universe. For the record, I am aware Ratchet and Talwyn are canonically dating (as far as I'm aware), but for the purposes of this AU they broke up some time before Rift Apart. The title is subject to change, however it's been like this since I began writing the tale back in 2019. It has gone through an ENORMOUS rewrite prior to posting. Chapters are going to be semi-oneshot format. They may be written at different times but will be part of the larger plot. "Quoted Italics" indicate Lombax language being spoken (or the name of a ship). Book One complete. With Kirito beating Heathcliff, a.k.a Kayaba Akihiko (who was also Ume's uncle), everyone was released from the game. But alas, that isn't where the story ends. Kirito and Asuna meet together in real life, happy as can be, only to find out three hundred players have yet to awaken from their slumber. Asuna leads Kirito to Ume's family's hospital and asked to see her. When they reach her, they expect her to be awake and send a sarcastic remark for not knocking, but instead, she is still unconscious and shows no signs of waking up soon. RIMBA What? (RIMBA Racer)
What happens when you land in a world filled with humanoid animals that love to race? Well, just about anything. In this fic, for those already familiar with my OC Mari, she finds herself in the world of Rimba Racer, and is totally lost in this crazy world. But with a little luck, some new friends, and maybe a new found love, she can find her way around this crazy adventure. I'm also gonna keep her human instead of changing her into an animal. 10/10 recommend this show. At first glance, I thought it was another weird kid show, but it is so amazing! The plot is great, the characters are amazing and funny, and the twists were amazing and leave you wanting more. Just sad that there isn't currently a third season. :(
