His voice got sterner, and that just made me even more scared but I forced words out of my mouth. "F-Faye," I whispered, winching due to the fact it's been so long since I've spoken. The man nodded, then stood up and held out his hand. I looked up at him, and he nodded towards my ankle. "I've got stuff in the RV over there, I can help." I was reluctant to trust him, and he seemed to take notice. "You really don't have another option, kid."
