Then, he and Six had a fight which caused them their scars and left on their own ways. 7 years later, Six found New Dream, a village that Mono is running. Now, blah blah blah we go over the events of the Seven Year Nightmare and to a point where they have feelings for one another, and are bonding. They just defeated an enemy called "The Eyes" and "saved the world". Now they are in Six's home and Six learns more about her powers through a book. When Six and Mono are forced to travel through a television, there's a glitch. Although separated by different signals, they're sent to the same place - the Maw, a feeding ground stranded in the ocean. Mono, thrown into seemingly-peaceful rooms, wants to find his way back to Six and escape with her. Six, lost in the darkest depths of the ship, wishes to escape by herself; seeing all others as a threat. It's not simply a fight against the outside world anymore. Without each other to lean on, with danger brewing, with darkness found inside and out...the two may not make it out alive. One thing is certain. One day, Six was walking down the street on the concrete until she saw a spark in her neighbor's house. She goes investigate then knocks on the door. When it opened, she sees her friend, Mono breathing so heavily. She asked if he was okay, Mono eventually replied with a smile, but the odd thing was, is when she saw a small line of static going up between his hair, looking like they were connecting together. He smiled warmly up at her, tears spilling over. "I'm sorry," he choked out, and he really was. The last thing he wanted was to leave Six all by herself. He knew loneliness all too well. But at least, this way, she would be able to live her life, far away from the cruelties that threatened them every minute as they had gotten closer to the Signal Tower. After the Signal Man had taken her, he devoted himself to getting her back no matter the cost. There was no price too big to pay. He would give up everything for her. Alternatively: If given the choice, Mono would totally sacrifice himself to save Six, if the circumstances were set up that way. Basically, the ending of Little Nightmares 2, but slightly different. The real ending broke me, and was nothing but angst, so here's angst with a happy ending. Beware of spoilers. Also, the mass of flesh and eyeballs is officially called the Squirming Abyss, so I will be referring to it as such.
