Alex is trying to escape a troubled past. By escape I don't mean a bad break up, I mean almost getting killed on a revenge plot. This escape brings him to the small town of Kaikoura in New Zealand.
Alex gets tricked into a hard job with small pay but finds he doesn't want to leave after meeting Samantha, a beautiful girl with golden locks and deep blue eyes. Alex realises his love for Samantha, but soon Alex's past catches up with him and Alex leaves to escape again leaving a heart broken Samantha to await his coming home.
Their love is a risk, with only communication by letters. But its not only their lives that are at risk, Alex has to escape his past but even with Alex gone is Samantha truly safe. Both Alex and Samantha must constantly look over their backs and when the pressure is on its up to the two lovers to make or break.
