I am a reader of crime novels and hard science fiction almost exclusively, and yet this story, which I have been writing for a long time, is a love story, I can't explain it even to myself. The characters will have to work through hardship and evolve to be able to surrender to the magical things around them and the flow of the universe and the love of other people. I'm not a fan of following rules, especially when the Dragons' hoarding obsession makes them the wealthiest patrons. Even though there's a power imbalance between the FL and the MLs, whatever happens between them and her involves consent. No cheating.
