After a strange but clarifying conversation in a grimy school restroom, Sal sets his eyes on befriending Travis and discovering the gorey details of him as a person. However, Sal gets a little too close, and some dreadful feelings arise. Now the issue is trying to figure out how to drop the hints without "incurring Travis' wrath", whether that would actually happen or not.
Meanwhile, Travis struggles to keep himself from fighting these changes. Everything is new, his brain is very stubborn in trying to reject it. He can't understand why he suddenly wants to follow along, and he hates that he does, but he lets it happen. Unfortunately this doesn't come without consequences.

this is an "AU" where it's just SLIIIGHTLY more realistic. Like, without big snot monsters and shit, and the cult isn't as powerful. So, not much different, but more room for a happy ending.

Soon his last year of highschool, he met a boy. A boy who would forever change him. Travis met the boy and was a total nunce to him, soon though he would begin to question everything. Why he thought about him so much. Why he wanted to hug him, why he dreamt about kissing him. Why everything reminded him of sal. But as that all happened, he tried to pray and push it down.
