Regulus couldn't breathe. The sensation of water rushing through his lungs was suffocating him slowly but surely, making his body feel heavy as he felt his consciousness fade away one moment at a time. His eyes were still open, though they weren't seeing anything anymore, only blackness.
The very fabric of reality contorted around itself, twisting, warping, bending, changing shape until finally becoming unrecognizable. It had become something else entirely now. Something that shouldn't be possible-the world Regulus knew so well was replaced with a new one... 'Teyvat'.
