A Collection of Poems
These poems are just some of the little pieces that make up my life. Whenever I get inspired by someone or something, I write a little story about it in the form of a poem. In a way, it helps me express what I have in my mind in a very vague way. I'm not that kind of a direct person, but there are things that are sometimes, better to kept secret. Here, these poems are what I wanted to say to my friends, to other important people, to people in general, to the world around me, to life and each detail it possesses. Each poem has a central theme, and around that revolves a certain story that I want to impart, something too delicate to be expressed directly, something too complicated. My life did go to shit. Triggers: My life depression has mentions of suicidal thought, cutting, and other things related to death. It's also cringe 2018 teen stuff. A young girl has issues with herself & contradicting thoughts about the people around her, resulting from negligence from her parents, which eventually leads her down the path of worldwind romance, narcissism, older men, tigers, the circus & an extreme personality disorder. All tragedies are concealed by her wonderful sense of humour. I kept telling them something was wrong. I kept saying that sleeping on my stomach didn't help with the swelling, and that knuckles on my forehead wouldn't slam words into my head. I told him that the pretty lights looked like festive nooses; they didn't make me feel any better. Most of all, I told him that I felt like I was a million different people. He said, "What do you think this is? Bittersweet Symphony?"Complete
