In a magical world filled with faeries, nymphs, and magical schools called "Anywhere", a young girl named Clara learns that she may not be as human as she thought she was. Raised in Suburbia by her Aunt, Clara has always felt more at home in the forest outside her Aunt's cookie-cutter house. Little does she know, there's a reason for that, a secret kept by her Aunt to protect her. Clara isn't human---she's a witch. Befriended by a talking salamander, a shapeshifter trying to figure out her identity, and an unnaturally lucky girl you don't want to get on the bad side of, Clara enters the school "Anywhere" to learn how to be a witch. And maybe on the way, she'll learn the secret of her ancestry.

Her Mother was known as a great healer in the village until they found out she was a witch. The village then worked together to burn her at the stake, while her Father kept her birth a secret from the whole village until she was old enough. Then when her Father died of disease everyone found out what she was. The villagers had decided to burn down her house and chase her out so she fled the only home she had known, and into the forest. After becoming lost she meets a woman laying in the grass, so she goes to her for help. Meeting her was the beginning of a mission to save three different races, herself, and the woman that she realizes that she loves.
