I Always Knew

May has always been alone besides her best friend, Alex. She has always been envious of her classmates with plenty of friends. She has always wanted to experience the frequent company of others. She has always been alone.

Then Zayn walks in.

He was always watching her from a distance. He was always around whenever she would start to feel a little lonely. He always managed to say the right things. But he not always did the right things either. Yet somehow, he always knew.
