George suffers from epilepsy which causes him to be bullied for that at school. After being humiliated in front of the whole school for being gay, the popular boy named Clay decides to stand up for him. 

Clay, suffering from diabetes with abusive and not supportive parents, does everything to help George get rid of the bullies while struggling a lot himself.

The two start getting closer and closer until Clay starts realising he's more similar to George than he expected to be, wanting to be closer to him every day. But will George trust him after what happened before?

But doctors start to lose hope of George ever getting better and since there is no match for a stem cell transplantation, there is only one person left to help him. But when the only place, his sport, he finds peace also gets ruined by bullies and his OCD, George is suddenly there to stick up for him when everyone else isn't.
