Introduction: Meg is a sixteen year old girl living in the hart of London. Her mother past away only two years after Meg was born. She's still heartbroken, but her father hasn't been the same since. Meg is a quite ordinary girl. She dresses normally and is doing great at school. Together with her best friend Alice, they have the most of fun. One day the two girls get disturbed by a group of four boys. Including a boy called Tom. Tom takes Meg's phone and they start bullying her. When Tom goes too far, saying something about her friends family, Meg decides to use her special power. She silenced the brunette boy in a few seconds. Ashamed and with no words he walks away. Later the boy figures out he needs the girl for something. Well, not her, but her power. He needs her to use her power to win a girl Tom really likes. The boy is getting more and more respect for the special girl. He maybe even starts to get feelings... Suddenly Meg isn't coming to their library appointments. Why? While Tom is figuring out his feelings for her, Meg has bigger problems at home. Her father comes home drunk, almost every night. And when he's in 'a good mood' he even hits her. She could still feel the bruises all over her body. One night he comes home and it goes terribly wrong...and it's not only her dad... Meg is staying at her friends house for a couple of weeks. After the accident someone had to look out for her. Alice's father was a good friend of Brian, Meg's dad. Family Melzer is taking good care of her. How she feels about Tom is still not sure. "It's a 'gift' they say, but how is it a 'gift' when I can't do it at myself? She feels so weird all the time when she's with him. And she doesn't know what it is. She always knows what it is. But now...its different. It's a terrible but beautiful feeling at the same time. She doesn't know what to do with it. She isn't in love with that bastard...is she?
