The Selected

In the universe of "The Selected", the cold war never truly ended. The world's two superpowers never withdrew the nuclear 'knives' from each other's throats. While the Soviet Union focused their resources on nukes, The U.S seized an opportunity to fight this war of espionage with an enhanced team of soldiers. The public knows them as "super heroes" but the government only sees them as weapons, similar to that of a nuclear bomb.
