A girl name Majida Bett comes home from school one day only to learn something is wrong. They are needed to be move out of their village so the government can do a little fixing up. The Bett family are now being forced to move into the wealthy side of the village, in the home of Majida's enemy Aisha Ruto. But there are many mysteries to why the government all of a sudden want to fix up the unknown little village.

"Momma, what is going on?" Majida questions her mother, curiosity shines in her voice. She looks at her mother who is quickly packing their essentials. "Are we moving?" she ask still not quite sure what's going on.
"Majida go and pack the clothes you need. Nothing that will not be of use to you." Rehema orders her daughter."Robbie will help you." she finish leaving no room for an argument. Majida feels that something is wrong. And she intend to find out just what exactly.
