Piper Hill. The shy,awkward, nobody, who is really just scraping by. Her parents are a lot of the problem. Neither seem to care about their daughter. And Piper's rough home life only makes her a prime target for bullies in her school. She's never really done anything about it, this is her life. Piper knows their is no way out. To make matters worse, the teen finds out that her parents are going to abandon her is the woods, leave her for dead. Piper knows she can make it. Maybe. This could be her way out. This could be her way to start anew. This could be a good thing. But the woods are not always kind, Piper must be prepared to brave the elements, wild animals and whatever else the wilderness could throw at her. Piper is not going home, who needs her there?
