"Tell me doctor, is this the feeling of a lying mans heart?" He whispers, his lips grazing my ear. I take in a deep breath and close my eyes about to respond. "You know your heart rate changes when you're about to say something, right?" He jokes with a knowing grin on his face. I bite my lip, hiding my smile before I press my lips onto his. "Now you're just showing off." I whisper as my hands travel to the back of his head, gripping onto his hair to push him onto me. 𓍊𓋼𓍊𓋼𓍊 One night after a long day at work Daeva Novak finds a bloody masked man in a dumpster in her rough neighborhood of Hell's Kitchen.
