                daphne vitch, a calm, collected and strong-willed female pirate who was left only a few shillings by her parents, telling her to run to tortuga and never look back. 5 years later, when in the events of drowning, she was saved by a stowaway who would end up being her best friend for a long, long time. maybe too long for her liking?

Pirates don't really fall in love, but he's willing to bend the rules to be with her. And yes the inspiration was the movie Tangled. I hope you enjoy this book.
