Kojiro loves Kaoru, but one problem stands in his way. Confessing to his long time friend after Ainosuke Shindo comes into the picture. Will Kojiro confess to Kaoru or will he continue his fits of coughing up blood and blossoms until his death.
(Side note: I will be changing this theme up a bit to where there's a medication to take to hold the flower petals from forming. Coughing and coughing up blood will still happen though, probably..well just see.)
There will be a happy ending and if it's highly requested I will do an alternate ending where he's not so lucky.
(I do NOT own any of the sk8 characters. Just the idea of the story that I got from looking at how sad Joe looks in the opening before his S persona is shown.)

Hanahaki disease: Hanahaki develops when somebody has one-sided love. It is very VERY rare. The person's lungs fill up with flowers, the favorite color of their love. Eventually the flowers fill their lungs and they die. It can be healed if the person's love returns their feelings. But if the person gets rejected, they will die faster. Or they can have an operation, but they lose all memory of their love. (im bad at describing ok😭) What happens when izuku is put between life and death for his love? This time, with Shinso, it is different. He has coughed up more flowers, it's more painful, and no one is going to figure out he has it. He doesn't want to lose any more friends. Also he doesn't want to lose his feelings for Shinso. That means no surgery even if it kills him.
