The Fourth Shinobi War was a victory to celebrate. Kakashi became the new hokage, Naruto was recognized internationally by many, Sakura's capabilities and great power bloomed surpassing her teacher, and Sasuke returned....Though he turned himself in with no trouble, that didn't lower the guards' suspicions towards him. He was sent to a cold, locked cell without the ability to move or see anything. All he could sense was the pure darkness. It's mysterious aura clouding his vision and licking his cold, pale skin. Such a sad scene to encounter...but for him, he thought this wasn't enough for what he did. Even death can't pardon his sins. His teacher, his best friend, his true love...they still trusted him and loved him dearly. If they didn't, then that would be the real punishment Sasuke wouldn't bare.

Naruto rarely sees his friends anymore, with Sakura training to become a better medical-nin all the time and Sasuke being confined to his own apartment under constant watch.
