I always thought that love would be constantly happy. That someone would write me love songs and stupid poems and everything they did would make my heart flutter. I thought that there was always one person you could depend on no matter what to be there for you. Someone who still cared for you despite all your flaws. Someone who could see the best and the worst of you and still think you were the greatest person in the entire world. Love isn't always going to be perfect. It's not fairy tales or storybook and it doesn't always come easy. Love is overcoming obstacles, facing challenges, fighting to be together, holding on & never letting go. it is short word, easy to spell, difficult to define & impossible to live without. Love is accepting all the complexities and simplicities. Love is work, but most of all; is realizing that every hour, every minute & every second was worth it because you did it together.
