The Earth was killed by our own kind, the scientists who didn't agree with how we were treating the environment. They've created a chemical that could make anyone disappear once and for all. The project has been going on for 4 years and was later found 2 days before the plan was executed, but everyone knew that it was too late to do anything.
Fortunately for the scientists, their plan worked and everyone died, everyone except 4 random teenagers. No one expected them to survive, 4 teenagers who didn't even know each other and had no clue that they weren't the only ones alive.
They were stuck on Earth, with no one to help them, and even worse, none of them knew each other. What will they do?

I never believed it would end like this. I was just watching Netflix when the power went out, then before I knew it everyone was screaming, then the school began to shake and fell to the ground. Only three kids in my entire school were spared, four if you count me. I found a group of people heading to the east coast for a boat trip to a supposed safe haven in India. They died of disease days later. I found their bodies by the river. But I guess this is my life now, surviving with a scared boy, a pair of twins and trying to make it to the next day. Everything started in 2036. The pollution was so bad that the end of the world was predicted to be right around the corner. As complete panic set in around the world, the rich and important people were all gathered and placed on giant spaceships with enough resources and room to house generations of human beings. Before they left though, the government leaders fired As a result, most of the human population died off and earth was a complete wasteland. The little that survived started building local communities and trying to survive in the destroyed excuse of a planet. On the disaster of a planet, creatures mutated and were born out of the nuclear chemicals; creating new species and monsters that hunted humans. While hundreds and hundreds of years passed, the monsters kept evolving and the people kept adapting while still trying to keep a sort of community. They didn't want to lose all of their humanity and become nothing more than animals that hunted the monsters: then they would truly be no better than the monsters themselves. So they stayed civil while still doing what it took to survive.Complete
