When two sides meet they each feel disgusted by each other one more than the other. And their feelings start to get in the way of their work. But what happens when a different feeling comes into the equation? What happens when their feelings become all mixed up? And to add the cherry on top, they are forced to start working together. Perhaps they'll succumb to the dark feelings and continue to belittle each other. Or they'll figure out that mystery emotion mixing in with all the others. Perhaps we may never know..

Janus 'Deceit' Sanders and Remus 'Duke' Sanders have been bestfriends since the split, though Janus acted as the responsible, adult one despite being the same age. Remus had always been vocal about his feelings until Virgil left, calling him too emotional. Janus had always been the one to lock his feelings and emotions away never really showing them. He did this ever since he was a child, wanting to show little weakness and to be strong for the others. These both came with major consequences, Remus often found it difficult to voice his feelings out without getting mad at himself or someone else for how he was feeling. Janus had to find other ways to cope with his feelings, mostly unhealthy. But what happens when these two dorks fall for each other? I'll tell you, mutual pinning and miscommunication, with tons of angst with some hurt/comfort fluff. [Sanders Sides, is an amazing thing created by Thomas Sanders, this is just a fanfic.] So, okay. Virgil, even now, wouldn't say that he's a part of the group. There was the Light Sides, the Dark Sides, an He was just Virgil. Kinda stuck in between in his own special but tiny box. And up until now, Virgil thought that the Light Sides were fine with that like the Dark Sides were. But, the answer was, apparently, no. Or, at least it was a semi-unanimous no. Sure, Virgil wasn't happy to know that, but why did he have to learn about it through stupid anti-anxiety pills...?

Through the reveal of Remus, things between the sides have changed. Logan's advice to Thomas has been taken up by Virgil, talking to Patton and learning to grow as a side. All seemed to be going smoothly until Remus tells Roman something not so true ,and with a new dilemma facing Thomas, the sides are busting out the seems of their foundation to try and keep things together. But with a fallout between the repressed and furious feelings eating away at Virgil and Roman, a past that had never seen the light of day, and the wrath of the dark sides ready to break all that was built, the sides have to figure out a way to save all that they have. - #3 on #sanderssides 10-15-19 - I recently got into Sanders Sides and I needed to write a story with Virgil's past ASAP, I hope you enjoy it!

Deceit has had enough, and he can't do it anymore. He can't deal with the pain of burdening the others. His boyfriend, Remus, doesn't need him. Deceit had a hole in his chest: a void, that he didn't think would ever fill. Thing is, with the right attention, that hollowness could've been filled. If he was shown that he was loved, and appreciated, if he was shown that he was needed; if he was accepted, then he would've been happy. Too bad he realised that too late.
