People born with special abilities are called the Inaxus. There are only about 200 of such people in the whole world and Beomgyu happened to be one of them. One may think that being born with superpowers is a privilege. However, that's not the case at all. The Marusae organisation captures Inaxus and conduct experiments on them. In order to prevent such a thing to happen to Beomgyu, his parents hid the fact that he was an Inaxus and hired the Kang family to protect him. And that was how Beomgyu met Taehyun. 

They thought they would be safe from the Marusae since they managed to avoid them for 19 years but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Someone had been watching them in the shadows and had discovered Beomgyu's secret.
